Workshop Title “Future Vision and the consolidation of concepts.”
Workshop Goals:
Consolidation of concepts and terminology regarding the future system for Disaster Risk Management in Palestine, and determine the general framework of the future vision for Disaster Risk Management
Workshop program
1- Discussion of the current situation for disasters
a) Meetings with the relevant competent parties
b) The current institutional status map for facing disasters
2- Analyzing information on institutional frameworks for Disaster Risk Management
3- The results of the workshops with the representatives of the Emergency Rooms in Governorate
4- Exploring ideas about the nature of the future system for Disaster Risk Management
Workshop Achievements
A map of existing situation for Disaster Risk Management has been presented and know the nature Relations between the different parties concerned, starting from the political level (Presidencywith Prime Ministry) and in theexecutive Level (Ministries, Non-Ministerial bodies and authorities, Civil Defense Directorate and Red Crescent)
Also knowing the nature relations from the Institutional and structural building and Legal Environment
Conclusion
This workshop covers the first part of the meetings with the National Team, which will be completed in the following meeting of the national team
